To enhance the capabilities of citizens and service to the accounting profession
a new partnership between the Association of Accountants and the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants ACCA
the UAE accountants and auditors association and (ACCA) the approved accountants association have signed a memorandum of understanding that will last for three years. It includes the sharing of the two bodies with technical knowledge, and work together on the training of qualified internationally accountants, providing services and support for members in addition to the training services and continuing education, and plans for professional development.
The MOU was signed at the Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai, by HE Saif Mohammed Bin Abed Al Muhairi, Chairman, Association of Accountants and Auditors AAA accounts, and Mr. Stuart Dunlop, regional director of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ACCA.
Mr. Saif Al Muhairi said that the Association of Accountants and Auditors, made a point of signing of this MOU out of their desire to work in partnership with ACCA, thus contributing to the development of international career, and added: “The signing of the MOU is an important event that coincides with the joys of the United Arab Emirates to win due to host the Expo in 2020 and the National Day celebrations of 42nd, hoping that this MOU be a prelude to asuccessful partnership could be to the benefit of the members of the association, and help to enhance the capabilities of citizens and serve in the accounting profession in United Arab Emirates. “
For his part, Stuart Dunlop, Regional Director of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ACCA stated: “We are very pleased to sign this memorandum, which will be the beginning to work closely with the Association of Accountants and Auditors, a successful association, as we follow up of the successes and achievements that have achieved a lot since it was formed. He added: We look forward to work with our new partners on a range of projects and initiatives that will support the development of the accounting profession and support specialists in the financial sector in United Arab Emirates for many years.”
Mr. Ahmed Darwish, who represents both organizations and the Chairman of the Committee of Chartered Accountants of Association of Accountants and Auditors and Chairman of the Advisory Committee of ACCA in United Arab Emirates, aimed: “This MOU shows serious commitment of ACCA in UAE United Arab by attracting local talents and enable them to become professionals and qualify them fully. I believe that the accounting profession in United Arab Emirates is taking steps forward by bringing global expertise and local expertise and integrate them together. “
